The make717 makerspace concept is growing to a new level. Based on our growth and future needs it was decided to gather the active makers on a regular basis to get their input on the direction for the future or make717. We will refer to these as membership meetings and let the organization and structure of the meetings grow as needed.
The first of these meetings is scheduled at the make717 Innovation Center on Clark Street (where you normally make!) on Thursday July 7 from 7pm to 8pm. Bruce will coordinate the meeting and we will be seeking the input of everyone.
Agenda for this meeting includes establishing work groups based on area of interest and expertise, coordinators for each work group, coordinator responsibilities, trainers for each work group, future equipment purchases, maintenance of equipment, space expansion, membership fees, frequency of meetings.
