Membership Levels

Social Maker (FREE)

Social Maker members are those who wish to have occasional access the make717 Innovation Center.  This is available at no charge thanks to a unique partnership with the Library System of Lancaster County.  The Library STEM Pass is available for checkout from your Lancaster County public library after you have attended an Information Session and Tour event.  This door access card gains you entry to the makerspace during prime time hours.

Mini Maker (FREE)

Mini Maker members are those who are under the age of 18 years old.  Mini Makers are granted free access when they are accompanied and properly supervised by an adult member.  

Maker ($38.50/month)

Maker members are those who wish to access the make717 Innovation Center.  These paying members receive their own personal door access card for entry to the makerspace during prime time hours.  24x7 access is available upon request after a probationary period.  Workshop costs are separate. 

Maker Family ($55/month)

Have more than one adult in your household that is interested in a maker membership?  That's great!  We cover the whole household (up to 4 adults) with a single Maker Family membership.  Each individual in the family is given their own door access card and has all the rights and privileges of Maker members.

Academic / Veteran Maker ($22/month)

Academic / Veteran Maker membership is available to those individuals currently enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education, faculty/staff at public or private school, or military veteran. We reserve the right to validate student enrollment against the National Student Clearinghouse.  Members at this level have all the rights and privileges of Maker members. 

Interested in any of these membership options?  Great!  Just register and attend an upcoming Information Session and Tour event.  Social Maker memberships are activated based on those in attendance at a tour.  Monthly memberships are accepted as part of the tour as well.
